Phillip Romar serves as a dedicated minister and the Ministry Lead for the Audio and Video Ministry at Philadelphia Christian Church. A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, Phillip’s faith journey began early in life, shaped by the unwavering example of his family’s devotion. He witnessed the power of Yah firsthand through the prayers and guidance of his mother, whose faith instilled in him a deep understanding of the importance of trusting in God and living a life set apart from the world.
Like many, Phillip faced challenges during his college years, encountering the temptations the world had to offer. However, it didn’t take long for him to realize how empty and unfulfilling those pursuits were. In 1998, he made a life-changing decision to fully commit his life to Christ, a decision that marked the beginning of a journey filled with countless blessings and a renewed sense of purpose. From that moment, his relationship with Yah became the foundation for everything he did, leading him into both ministry and entrepreneurship.
Phillip and his wife have enjoyed 26 wonderful years of marriage, raising three beautiful children together. Their life is grounded in faith, love, and service, and they share a vision of using their blessings to positively impact their community. Beyond his responsibilities at church, Phillip thrives as an entrepreneur and real estate investor, owning multiple businesses with his wife. Their shared commitment to stewardship allows them to pour back into their community and glorify God through their work.
Phillip also finds joy in God’s creation, whether he’s fishing, gardening, or even playing a farmer on his YouTube channel. These hobbies not only bring him joy but also serve as a way for him to connect with others, spreading laughter, encouragement, and inspiration. Known for his sense of humor and love for uplifting those around him, Phillip is a beacon of joy to everyone he meets.
One of Phillip’s guiding scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” This verse serves as a constant reminder that placing complete trust in God opens the door to His guidance, making believers a force to be reckoned with.
Phillip is deeply honored to serve the people of Philadelphia Christian Church, leading the Audio and Video Ministry with excellence and dedication. His goal is to ensure that the church’s message reaches both local and virtual audiences, using his technical expertise to magnify the Word of God. Through every project, interaction, and business venture, Phillip remains committed to helping others experience the transformative power of faith in Yah.
